Gavin Bosco and Tamara Noland were named the 2014 Man and Woman of the Year for 2014 by UniGroup, the parent company of Mayflower Transit and other logistics and transportation-related companies. The announcement of the company’s highest individual honor for associates was made by President Rich McClure on Wednesday, May 7.
This is the 45th consecutive year UniGroup has recognized a Man and Woman of the Year who are selected on the basis of professional performance and contributions to the achievement of corporate and departmental goals.
Bosco is UniGroup’s agency global sales manager, responsible for supporting our global network of agents in their sales and maintaining relationships with some of UniGroup’s largest corporate clients. Bosco was honored for his care for the clients as well as his innovative thinking and positive attitude.
Noland has worked in a variety of roles in the claims and litigation departments in her 21 years with UniGroup. Currently she is the senior litigation/arbitration administrator in the Law department, assisting with claims disputes and coordinating all aspects related to the American Moving & Storage Association dispute settlement program. Noland is described as organized, conscientious and insightful. She also serves as a mentor to many of her fellow associates.
