CityPointe® Frequently Asked Questions

Q How do you pick your real estate agents?

A We have an established network of real estate agents that we select based on their experience and market presence. Our CityPointe network of real estate agents are members of the Relocation Directors Council or the Employee Relocation Council (ERC), and have a Relocation Director on staff.

Q I have a real estate agent in mind and I would like to use them. Can I use them?

A You are under no obligation to hire a real estate agent from among those referred by CityPointe; however, you will not receive a reimbursement from your relocation cost if you choose a real estate agent who was not referred by CityPointe.

Q I have already listed my home. What can I do?

A We cannot interfere with a listing agreement. We suggest that you continue with your current agent and once the listing expires, we can help you re-list. We can still help you with new community information and finding a new home.

Q Who is the person that is going to call me?

A Once your Mayflower representative initiates you into the system, you will receive a phone call within one business day from a Mayflower consultant. If for whatever reason you don’t hear from the consultant, please call your Mayflower representative.

Q How long will it take to receive my reimbursement?

A All reimbursements will be made within 60 days of closing.

Q How will I receive my money back?

A If you move with us and we are able to assist with the sale or the purchase of a home, you will receive a check within 60 days of closing on your property. You will need to have completed your move before you are eligible to receive your payment.
