ST. LOUIS – Dodge Moving & Storage, a local Mayflower Transit agent, is celebrating 35 years of providing local, interstate and international transportation services for Mayflower Transit. The company, originally founded in 1902, became a Mayflower agent in 1972.

“We have a strong history in the moving business, and we owe the longevity to our employees’ dedication and to our customers’ loyalty,” said Tom Linhares, Dodge general manager. “We are proud of our reputation and look forward to another 35 years as a Mayflower agent.”

Dodge Moving & Storage was founded by the Dodge family in 1902 and bought by the Clerc family in 1990. Under the Clerc’s direction, the company has experienced significant growth and expansion, utilizing warehousing technologies and providing relocation services that meet the needs of today’s sophisticated moving clients, according to Linhares.

The company employs 125 people between its two locations in St. Louis, Mo., and O’Fallon, Ill., and is an active member of the community through its annual participation in both the Boy Scouts of America’s annual canned food drive and the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots drive.
