| FRANKLIN, Mass. – W. J. Donovan, Inc., a Franklin, Mass.-based Mayflower Transit agent, was selected by Giget Stover, Mrs. West Virginia America 2006, to safely transport her extensive and valuable wardrobe, costumes and support materials to the 2006 Mrs. America competition in Tucson, Ariz.
The Mrs. America competition is the original competition devoted to emphasizing that America’s 65 million married women are beautiful, poised, articulate and versatile. Each of the 51 contestants earns the right to compete in the national competition by winning her state competition. This year marked the 30th anniversary for the competition.
While Stover did not take home the crown, she was impressed with W.J. Donovan’s award-winning services and the company’s competency in safely transporting her thousands of dollars of glamorous evening gowns and other competition wear.
"W.J. Donovan is amazing,” Stover said. “They did exactly what they said they would, eliminating my worries about transporting all of my belongings so I could focus on the competition.”
Mayflower Transit transports electronic equipment, trade show exhibits and displays, works of art, and specialized freight, in addition to household goods, utilizing a network of 700 affiliated agents throughout the United States and around the world.
