GREENSBORO, N.C. – Dean Barrett, vice president of sales at Ray Moving & Storage, an agent of Mayflower Transit, was named Mover of the Year by the North Carolina Mover’s Association (NCMA) for his exceptional contributions to the moving industry.
The Mover of the Year is selected by members of the NCMA, and the winner does not even know he/she has been nominated until the honor is bestowed at the association’s annual convention, held this year on Nov. 3.
“I’m honored that the people in this association think so highly of the work we do at Ray,” Barrett said. “I truly believe that respect is earned, not given, and this award shows that Ray has earned the respect of our peers, which really says a lot about our agency and our character.”
Barrett currently serves on the Board of Directors of the NCMA, and it is his second year in that position.
