AURORA, Colo. – All American Moving Services, an agent for Mayflower Transit, moved more than 850 tractors in a shipment weighing no more than 30,000 pounds; the tractors were actually miniatures, part of an extensive collection of museum-quality toy tractors and farm equipment.
Through the combined efforts of Kevin Reddy, sales manager; Chuck Lehmann, sales representative; and Sandee Galligan, customer service manager; All American Moving Services helped the owner relocate his toy trucks successfully.
“Chuck Lehmann worked closely with our customer to strategize proper packing and handling of these-museum-quality collectables,” Reddy said. “The driver helped with solutions to carefully pad wrap the pedal tractors, and then he built a deck to load in such a way as not to damage them.”
The collection included 52 pedal tractors, 800 die-cast miniature tractors and $500,000 in collectable replica toy tractors and farm equipment.
