NOVI, Mich. – Premier Relocations, an agent for St. Louis-based Mayflower Transit, announced that it donated 500 moving pads to the 21st Wish-A-Mile 300 Bicycle Tour. The donation will be used to wrap bicycles being transported to Traverse City, where volunteer riders meet the bikes for the 300-mile trip downstate.
The Wish-A-Mile 300, or WAM 300 is a three-day, 300-mile bicycle ride from Traverse City to Chelsea, Mich., to raise funds and awareness for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Michigan. Last year, WAM raised enough funds to grant 167 wishes to Michigan children facing life-threatening medical conditions. This year they hope to raise enough to grant more than 200 wishes.
“As a proud member of the Novi community, giving back is important to us,” said Kirk D. Hensler, general manager of Premier Relocations. “This is an amazing event that supports a great cause.”
The Make-A-Wish Foundation is an organization that is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of thousands of Michigan children battling life-threatening medical conditions.
