It was not what I expected from Mayflower. The administrative staff, Linda, was attentive, but the process and handling were less than impressive.

Loaders were in a hurry to leave at the end of the day. Left some inventoried items at my home. Otherwise All aspects were as expected therefore excellent.

This was a very stressful time for us. we were having a difficult time coordinating our move with escrow closing problems. However, Linda and Paul in the Fresno office went out of their way to help us. I had to make several calls to Linda and she always found way to help. Plus, we had read several bad reviews online about Mayflower which increased the worry quotient. Fortunately, these reviews had it wrong-- at least for us.

It wasn’t explained to me upfront that my things would be going into a warehouse then repacked again. The driver that delivered packed my belongings too tightly damaging all the corners of my desk and dresser. The mover that assisted him stripped my barrel nut holding my bed together. I will need to find another barrel nut. My brand new lamp still packed from Costco for $65 was stolen by someone. The drivered arrived at my house at 7:30 am smoking a bong of pot which he shared with the other 2 movers at break time.

Overall we were very satisfied. We liked the single point of contact we had for organizing the event, then also having the same person (driver) at the loading and unloading events. The people that packed and unpacked at each point were also very good and polite.

My only issues are: 1) On the second price quote, I added TV packing at $180, and saw it on the itemized listing. When watching the TV being unloaded, it was simply wrapped in a quilt. 2) A few pieces of wood furniture had small portions of the wood chipped. Also, I have not had a chance to inventory the items taken to a storage unit, however, trusting all is there. Movers, Michael and Jerry, VERY nice and hard workers.

We started out with Marvin coming to our house to give us a quote, super nice and knowledgeable guy, then we had him come out again because we were freaking out about how to pack, what to pack etc. he was very helpful about everything and calmed us down. Linda was good to work with and Ignacio and his crew were the BEST!!! Absolutely no regrets using Mayflower.

This was our first professional move. We had always done it ourselves because it was mostly local. So we were very pleased overall. Everything was done like we were told it would be. From the arrival time of the truck to the delivery of our stuff. The driver was very nice and the helpers were also very mannerly and worked very hard. Nothing was broken in the process of moving, and the movers put everything back together that they had to disassemble for the move.

Moving coordinator was basically non-existent in the entire process. My items arrived crushed due to poor placement in the shipping containers. The "movers" from my destination office were not professional and did not know what they were doing - including how to do the paperwork.

Mine was a very small move, but it was complicated because it was out of state and also required storage for several weeks. Jennifer and Linda did a great job of arranging everything. I wasn't present when the shipment reached my brother on the east coast, but I think that the delivery went just fine.

Overall the move experience went very smoothly -- dates and commitments were kept by Mayflower. Special shout out to Shane on the Visalia end of our move -- very helpful and resourceful when he realized that they'd have to shuttle our furniture out of he housing development. Linda at your office was very helpful and knowledgeable -- all our questions and concerns were addressed promptly and completely.

The transition time from pickup to delivery is too long and I did not get timely updates during the time. As the result, I stay in my house for over a week without furniture.

My experience was excellent. Our move had some complexities that required coordination with the origin Mayflower representatives and the Moving Van team. Both ends were very helpful and followed up proactively. I give my highest recommendation.

Missed the drop date by 2 weeks. Getting ahold of my rep was next to impossible. Short answers and 0 cares. This level of customer service is shocking. I should not have to reach out to my rep for updates on how many days my good will be late. Promised calls are missed and then excuses like your phone said it was disconnected. I have had the same Cell Phone number for 15 years. Own up to the fact that you didn't call, you didn't care and if you did care, you didn't want to show it. The team that came to my house and picked and packed and then dropped my goods were great. Professional, timely and carrying. When they said they would be there, they were and handled my possessions with care. I wish the rest of the staff could show this level of service. I understand in the transportation world, things happen, pickups and spots are missed. Just talk to the customer and keep them up to date. That is all we ask.
