The move timing was really good, with a minimal time between load and delivery. The loading was done well and efficiently. We had not packed several items, like lamps, so they took extra time. The movers took several pieces of furniture apart and unfortunately weren't 100 percent careful about putting the parts in the parts box. As a result on the receiving end, several pieces of furniture were not reassembled and we are still looking for the parts to try to reassemble them. We thought the unload was frenetic and as a result several boxes are in the wrong location and, as mentioned before there are several items of furniture that are still in pieces. Two lamps were damaged beyond repair. Over all, it was a reasonably good move in spite of the broken lamps and furniture items in pieces.

The on ground crew that actually completed the packing, loading, driving and unpacking were first rate. The office staff consistently confused days, dates and names, and consequently relayed inaccurate information to me, the customer.

You guys were great fast and good communication. i thought the Carlsbad crew was excellent. The driver was excellent. The Bend Or crew was good but not as good as the Carlsbad crew. They weren't as strong and complained a little bit and were a little impatient. I will say we were also exhausted and had arrived at 330am and they showed up at 8 or 9 so We were a little spaced out wiped out and cranky too. The driver was excellent !!! He keep us informed of when he was arriving to pick and drop off. He was very accomdating and patient Office support was good too.

Our overall move experience with Mayflower/Chipman was excellent, in comparison to the 12+ moves we did over a military career. Our favorable impression started with George Howsmon, who provided lots of good advice during the planning and estimating process, followed by Mistee Mendoza who followed us closely throughout the move, providing quick and courteous answers to all of our questions. The packing done by Diego was exceptional, very quick. Finally, Ignacio, our driver was very professional, conscientious and a pleasure to work with throughout loading and unloading.

Our move with Mayflower was fantastic from start to finish. George who came out to survey was incredibly knowledgeable and accurate. Mistee who coordinated the entire job was super organized and thorough. Walter the driver was onsite and kept me updated along his route. Both crews at load and unload were professional, courteous and FAST. I’ve done 4 international and 8 Local moves (in Asia) and would most definitely use Mayflower again. By far the easiest move I’ve ever done.

My moving experience went very well! The loading crew Tony and Russel were professional and packed our items in an orderly manner. Our moving truck arrived promptly and loaded all of our items within 7 hours. I appreciate Mistee Mendoza for checking-in with me throughout the moving process to ensure that everything was working out smoothly. My family is happy with the overall service provided by Mayflower.

The team from Chipman was professional, respectful of my time, understanding of our difficult moving situation and flexible to accommodate. Communication was outstanding and I never felt like I had to chase anyone from their team to get answers to my questions. They always called me back when I left messages and followed up with email.

Moving from one coast to the other involves many moving parts, from the initial estimate, to voice and email followup, to the load and move to the final delivery almost three thousand miles away. Not a thing went wrong!!

First I must say everything from beginning to end was perfect. My household goods were packed on the day I wanted picked up on the day I wanted delivered on the day that I wanted which was agreed upon with the company and truck driver everything was intact nothing was broken and all employees were very professional and very nice. The truck drivers Jose and Rosario were exceptionally professional and very customer orientated. If I ever to move again I would want them to be my truck drivers. They're an asset to your company. Thank you the Mayflower and thank you to Jose and Rosario.

Great experience. Both teams were on time and moved quickly. Also used ingenuity to speed up the process in Seattle. Yay! And when an item was accidentally left on the truck, they hand delivered it the next day.

My whole Mayflower experience was spot on from the time I made my appointment for my estimator, meeting with him, meeting my driver, loading my furniture, on time delivery, off loading my furniture with no damage or lost items what so ever. Being my first cross country, they made it worry free. Would definitely recommend. Great Company!!

The overall move experience was ok. Estimation-The estimation was off over 2.5k pounds. Which cost me a considerable amount of money from my first estimate that was done Departure-The driver was very late to pick up and the helpers were waiting for hours before he arrived. Which made our move out very late, around 7:15 pm. The loaders were very diligent and careful loading everything, including very heavy pieces from upstairs. Arrival-The drivers was extremely late, couldn't park the truck because of his poor driving skills and the helpers/loaders were waiting for hours AGAIN. He did not show up until after 12 noon. The helpers mostly put things were they needed to go, too much stuff to be every where at once. They found all of the missing ticket items. The driver was missing during loading and drop off. For hours at a time. He would said he had to get food and money for the guys but would be gone for 3 hrs.

The entire process was pretty smooth. All of the support staff who worked with us throughout the move were extremely friendly and helpful. They were easy to get in contact with throughout the process to answer any questions we had. Mayflower was also accommodating to us as we had to switch our move address up.

The total move was seamless! The estimator (George) was courteous and thorough. Darma was spot on with her follow-up on every detail of our move. AND, Sergio was incredibly efficient in the handling of our furniture, and an absolute delight to work with. We feel that we have made a friend for life. We are STILL missing very important items, close to 45 days after Mayflower failed to load all our household on the truck. The driver told me the day before not to worry, it would all fit. After 14 hours of packing, the truck and the "pod" containing roughly 25% of our belongs departed our home. The pod was the start of the problems, from there the real disaster started. Some of our household items from the pod arrived on 27 September. The delivery men were appalled at the condition of the items, so much so that they sent their manager pictures of the items. I mention this only to show Mayflower's on-going neglect and lack of concern for our belongings. Just a few missing items our tax returns from 2015 and 2016 and a backup disk drive - these documents represent a HUGE identity theft risk, tools - including expensive power tools, my fathers medals and other memorabilia from WWII - these items are clearly irreplaceable.

The driver's help didn't show up at the beginning of the move and resulted in a 2 hr. delay loading. When delivering my future another delay due to helper. In addition, 4 pieces of furniture were broken, several items scratched.

Mayflower headquarters' profoundly poor customer service has inspired me to diligently steer potential customers from your company. On our moving day (arranged months in advance), Chipman Relocation did not have a van or crew available. After my frequent calls, a broken down trailer was sent. But no crew to load! Finally a crew arrived. The lateness of your arrival caused us to miss our flight to our new NC home. Our possessions sat in a trailer in CA for weeks with NO ONE willing to resolve the issue. Weeks of calls finally resulted in the move. Much of our furniture arrived damaged. Shelley Shellenbarger did NOTHING to get us answers as to when our possessions would move from CA to NC. Your MO office told me "if you want a set delivery date, you should get another carrier." That casual disregard for your customer - evident from the day you took my $10,000 - was the hallmark of your "service." Worst customer service I have ever encountered.

From start to finish, the entire Mayflower moving experience was flawless. We have moved about 9 times, given our military history, and this was beyond a doubt the best experience we've had. We were particularly pleased with Darma's regular calls to make sure the processes were running smoothly, and Wesley's (the driver) updates en route. Great loading/unloading crews at both ends. A perfect experience.

Other than a few broken items, the only real problem we had was that the packers forgot an entire panel of kitchen cupboards. Ultimately, it was our fail - my husband assumed all was packed and signed the paperwork before checking all cabinets.

All was great with the move. Communication was clear and my move coordinator was responsible and answered all of my questions. The driver was also great he got our stuff out to us exactly on the day that he said that he would. My only issue is that on both move out and move in days there were only two people there pack and unpack the truck which made for two extremely long days. In the past, it had only taken 3-4 hours to load and unload our items, this time around it took about twice that time because there were only two men to do the move (the driver and the helper).

Our original contact told us a truck would come to our house and load every thing we were taking. A white truck showed up and our belongings were then taken to a where house and stored. The 1st load was a day late and we still have not received the balance of our stuff. No one called and gave us the option to split or not split our things. Because the driver decided what to leave behind we have had to go out and buy printer. Coffee pot and a number of other items . When our load arrived almost every box looked like it had been used in a foot ball game . A number of things have been broken. This was not what we expected I chose Mayflower because I have seen your trucks since I was a kid. I moved a load of our stuff across the country , I loaded it and un loaded it and not one box was crushed not one thing broken. The only saving grace with this move was the people who loaded the 1st truck and the two men who unloaded were very good. I have no idea what happened to our stuff between .

Darma in office was great. She stayed in contact throughout the move. Robert who made the move was top notch and so were the men he picked. A plus, plus plus for him and his two crews. Top grade. The "special packers" were dreadful-never use them again. They were late and surly to me the customer and to Robert and his crew in SD. A four year old could have packed the lamps better. Robert asked if he could repack some of the art they did because he didn't think it would hold up. He was right and he knew how to make sure the customer was ok. Estimator did not listen to what I asked for which also caused difficulty in relation to the "special packing" since I had emphasized to him about the art work and the large Asian screen and musical instruments. I never heard from him again after the estimate. They need to make that final contact to show people you care as a company.

Loading process went well. Did not listen when mentioned high dollar items.reload was very "stuffed". Boxes were laid on their sides which defeated the strength feature of the box. Several have been "crushed" or "kinked". Truck break down delayed the delivery by one day. Unload went well. One item broken, not sure if it was because of single blanket wrap on floor lamp or repack. Driver did not stop me to give me my copies of delivery documents. Will process claim form. Understood the weight was less than estimated and will be looking for reduction of cost.

I was mislead about our stuff being loaded onto a truck and left on truck until it was delivered. Then the guys that came out without stuff for our mattress that i asked about and it was the drivers concern that his truck wasn't big enough to hold all our stuff. It should have took about 3 to 4 hours but there was only two of them so it took over 6 hours.

We were completely satisfied with or moving experience. George H and Darma at Chipman were fantastic! Shawn was our mover and he and his team both at the pack location and the delivery location were fast friendly and efficient. Shawn arrived at both houses exactly on time and instead of taking 2 days to load they completed it in 1 day! Darma did an awesome job of reaching out to use during the move to make sure everything was going smoothly. We were totally impressed with Chipman/Mayflower and would definitely use them again.

I was very unhappy with my move coordinator. She didn't respond to the majority of my questions or emails. The only time I heard from her in a timely manner was when she needed to get ahold of me because there was an issue with me not being home for delivery.
