Overall, the experience was above average compared to other relocations for me. I credit the highly skilled, professional & polite moving teams in both Miami & Houston...and despite some damage to a few of my home goods.

My overall experience was wonderful! My move consultant, Pat Day, was friendly and thorough when he quoted my move cost. My move coordinator, Penni Jollif, was extremely helpful. She responded to every inquiry I had quickly. She stayed in constant communication with me and was always professional and knowledgeable. This was my first experience working with movers and I was very nervous about the process. But from the first day, Penni outlined what I can expect and absolutely ALL of my expectations were exceeded. The movers who came to my home to pack my furniture were on time, each mover introduced themselves to me and walked me through what I can expect. They thoroughly secured all of my boxes and furniture making sure that each item was properly wrapped. When my furniture arrived at my new home, separate mover delivered the furniture but were equally kind and professional. They also introduced themselves to me and walked me through how they will unload my furniture. All of my furniture was delivered within the time frame that I was given, nothing was missing, nothing was broken and nothing was damaged. Every single person who participated in my move eased any doubts I had about working with movers tremendously! I'm so grateful that my first experience with movers was with this company, and I will ALWAYS use this company for any move I have in the future and I will ALWAYS gladly recommend them.

It was great to have Alex Trento come out to give me a quote. Some would only do email quotes or schedule then say they did not need to see the items and just sent an email quote! All my boxes arrived! I've had lost boxes in the past with a different company. Mayflower was professional.

Mike was very professional. He directed the packing and unpacking and supervised all aspects of the move. He was meticulous and thorough. We felt very confident in his skills and the move (over 1500 miles) went by without a hitch. We would absolutely recommend him to any of our friends and family.

Patrick Day - our estimator flat out lied to me and hustled me and then had the nerve to say I was in the wrong because he had made a mistake and not gone to my storage to view items . Had penny not gotten involved I would have sued Patrick and Mayflower . He didn’t even apologize to me for his screw up ,he did however tell me it was my fault . So far to date I have found several items broken . I had a large mable table I added to the move last minute which was not created properly from the time it had left my house ( I was told it would be crated up properly at the warehouse . When the table arrived it still hadn’t been created properly and it was broken . This is a very expensive marble table just not cared for properly and now it is broken. I will be filing a claim of course because there is a lot still unpacked with 6-7 items already broken .I strongly suggest Patrick be given a desk job . He is a real scum bag and liar . In short Penni and mark were professional and nice.

We were impressed with the value, service and the support we received from Mayflower during our most recent move. We have found everyone (the entire chain of people we dealt with from the start to finish - starting with Elliot and finishing up with our drive, Gregg) to be professional, prompt, polite and friendly. The only issue we need to resolve is the few items that were damaged/broken and some sets of the hardware for our furniture that are seemingly lost. Mayflower support team has informed us on the follow-up process and have shared the claim forms we would need to process once we have processed all our boxes. The move was smooth and professional from beginning to end. The men doing the move-out and in knew what they were doing and in one instance, got a large piece of furniture in that we thought we would have to sacrifice. Everything arrived in the condition in which it left. The driven called en-route to let me know the day of arrival and the time. After reading about all the nightmare stories written about the process of moving, I was pleasantly surprised to found no issue whatsoever with the move.

Lack of communication from representatives, did not get a call back after several attempts. Finally someone called me the day of my move informing me that they would not be there. Representative cussed me out causing stress and hardship, had to postpone flight and a night of hotel.

From the initial survey and estimate to the move out and then the delivery of our household goods, the team at Mayflower was excellent. Interacting with the owner Alex Trento was like talking to family. The entire team, from the coordinator, Penni, to the movers was professional, honest and a pleasure to work with.

I have been using Mayflower to Move my stuff since 2013. I only had one issue when a few pieces were damaged. This particular Move was stress free, the movers were timely, and professional. Couldn't have been better, except for the cost! I thought the cost was very high for the small amount of stuff that I moved..

Move from Key Largo was absolutely a great at experience. The move from Parkland was more of a cluster bust. Attitude of Key Largo driver and crew was respectful, attitude of Parkland driver was piss poor

Our driver and his mover showed up on time. Boxes got moved out to the driveway and it started to rain. While getting my boxes out of the rain, the driver tore his calf muscle and could not help move my furniture. The other guy had to flag down a lawn crew worker outside to help him because the driver could not get anyone to come and help. My husband and I also carried boxes into the truck to help. My furniture was damaged, a piece of my lamp got lost, silk flower sconces were damaged etc. when they got to Tennessee, the local mover did nothing but complain and he failed to bring a second mover like the driver requested. I made a claim almost a month ago and have made several inquiries about my claim, but I have not been contacted by the adjuster. For a highly rated company, I had a very bad experience and probably would not recommend your company to anyone.

Fromfirst inquiry through entire process, polite, professional, pleasant, all done on schedule. Completely flawless. Move was very last minute due to ill parent. Mayflower couldn't have made the move easier or more stress free. I cannot thank everyone who assisted enough. Absolutely superb service.

Let me start by saying: It was the worst moving experience we've had! The agency in Florida (origin) completely lied to us when selling the services - starting with what the services were to the quality of the people they provided to provide the services. Worst nightmare!!!!

The driver of the vehicle was outstanding but when it came to coordinating at the drop of point the personnel Mayflower tried to set up to help the driver deliver the merchandize that part of it was terrible I was promised delivery on a Sunday morning and did not get delivery of the goods until Monday afternoon.

The start did not go well, as the estimator was undergoing some issues so we lost a day because of that, but I cannot fault anyone because of medical reasons. The initial part of the move was great. The packers did a great job and were very friendly. The driver was great in getting everything loaded up in one day. The disappointment came in that the driver got delayed in Florida, so it took longer to get to NC, and when he arrived, all of the storage items had been moved to a different truck, along with some of the regular items. So I had to take more time to meet a second driver the following week to get that stuff. He was excellent, as was his team. Overall all of the people were great, I just was unhappy with some of the delays and splitting the load.

From our first meeting with Jonie Elliott, who is pleasant, professional, caring and just amazing to work with to dealing with Penni Jolliff our moving coordinator, who is another pivotal person on your team to the packers who had to work around my mother who is 89 and broke her wrist two days before we were to move, the packers were so accomadating never acting like she was in there way to the actual moving team who is headed by Chris, who I feel like is part of my family, he packed us up in Florida and unpacked us in Texas. He and his team on both ends were a pleasure to deal with. With everyone above working as a team things went PERFECT.

Several pieces were missing upon delivery. Plastic end cap on my $800 sound bar. Driver said he had it but has not delivered it yet and it's been 3 weeks. Missing Master Bedroom bedspread and upper sheet. 2 completely broken book cases and 3 completely broken upright DVD cases.

I was satisfied with the pick up .. the delivery man was very good as well. The only thing that troubled my wife and I was I was promised a window date for delivery and it worked the latest date . My wife had to start her new position at work in NYC and had no work clothes because they never showed up on time . She had to spend 600 bucks to get her thru the first week at least .,

Packing was good but delivery was unacceptable. No response from driver when bed came apart, forgot to complete putting wall unit together, delivered one of my items to the second drop off point. Unacceptable! Other problems exist. Extremely unhappy

The packers did not pay attention to instructions and an number of items were missed. The driver had one decent helper and his 100lb girlfriend who was not very useful. The loading took 12 hours!!!! For about 1/3 of a truck load. For the unloading the driver only had his 100lb girlfriend to help!!

I was first loaded and last unloaded, I believe. Resulted in the maximum days in transit.Minor damage to furniture (scratches and gouges are to be expected but I'm not happy because some are so obvious. Finally and most importantly,reassembly of furniture was a challenge, for sure. But, I will need to reassemble my platform bed at some point so that the drawers will work properly.

I found it unacceptable to have family members spend 7 hours in the cold New England weather because only the driver was there to unload a house full of furnishings.

Ours was a stress free as a cross country move could get thanks to the move coordinator and the Driver Mike. I packed our home over a period of several weeks which was the worst part. The crew came in, moved it and delivered ahead of schedule and kept in communication with us the entire time. Well done Mayflower and Mike!

Terrible service. The first thing the driver told me when they got to the new house was they tried to get Mayflower people in the area to help unload the truck but no one was available. The driver was very nasty to me the whole time while unloading & basically said he's a driver, not a mover. Since there was only 1 other person there, he had to move my stuff. I paid a huge amount of money for the move & felt I could be confident that Mayflower would be great. I've never been talked to in my life, except for my sister, they way the driver yelled at me. He complained when I told him where to put things, then they left boxes in the garage that were to be in the house & put all markings towards the wall so I wasn't able to see what was in the boxes & where they needed to go. There are scratches on a lot of my furniture (they put putty & marker on some of it) a bench was damaged, my flat tv was shattered, etc. I'm only able to send this since I'm disabled & was in a car wreck 1/24.

- much of the prep work (including extra costs) under the instruction of sales staff was deemed a waste of time by actual movers. Lack of communication between two internal groups. - manifest system is irrelevant when the only copies left with us where illegible. - Insurance irrelevant since manifest indicated every box showed signs of damage despite 90% of which was new materials and in pristine condition. - Space estimate was off - only because another customers was loaded first and was larger than discussed with sales person. This forced shipment to be split up - causing a lot of disorganization and stress - again copy of manifest indicated was never provided to us (forcing us to take photo with phone) nor was a final draft provided to second ship driver. - much effort and cost went into this move to ensure a smooth operation - much of it was thrown into chaos by movers for no apparent reason other than an esoteric method that could have been easily conveyed on the front end.

Mr. Elliot Becker was extremely professional during the process; the driver of the truck was amazing: hard worker and very polite. Once he arrived at my house, the crew in Schertz, TX was incredible. Fast and careful. The entire process was stress-free.

The inventory of my move was precisely calculated and even reduced before my move day. Despite that, when the 18 wheeler arrived, it had loaded too much from previous loads and all my goods did not fit on the truck. An additional 20 foot Haul truck had to be rented and those goods ended up shipped separately by a common freight carrier arriving 10 days following delivery of the initial load. A planned 6-8 hour load time on our move day, turned out to be almost 15 hours and was complete chaos. I had farewell dinner plans with friends scheduled that i could not attend because our loading didn't end until about 11:30pm. When the second load of goods arrived having been shipped by common freight, they were soaked with water severally damaged. It was the worst delivery situation the local Mayflower agent at our destination had ever seen. Moving is traumatic and stressful enough, without adding a disastrous Mover experience to it. I have not yet, but plan to file a damage claim.
