Only issue would be that a few plastic containers were destroyed and the local guys here in TN cracked a few small glass items. Otherwise smooth and easy to use. Happens in transport, but the Coordinator of coverage was easy.

The was a perfect experience from beginning to end. Debbie and Carl were very professional from the beginning to end. I had to change my original pickup date and had some issues with my bank releasing the funds and Debbie worked with me to get things resolved. This was my first time moving across country and I had heard and read horror stories about moving companies charging additional fees at the drop off point. Carl assured me that this would not be the case with Mayflower. Alan was my driver and he arrived promptly at 7:00 a.m. on the delivery day. He and his team were very professional. They all introduced themselves, surveyed the rooms they needed to move the furniture into, and got to work. I've had other local movers who stand around and talk for more time than they work. This team even gave me suggestions on how to arrange my furniture. Also, there was no damage to any of my items. Great customer service throughout the entire process. Could write more, but out of characters.

Overall excellent. Only areas of issue were with arrival: The driver not knowing which gate to use, and calling me unexpectedly, and the uncrater giving me a surprise call regarding scheduling as well. The additional charge for the overage on weight was a small surprise, but understandable.

We will never use or recommend Mayflower to anyone. Our experience, from the booking process, through the pick up, and ultimately the delivery of our items was terrible. We were and are blown away by how horrible of an experience it was to use a supposedly reputable moving company.

People we have a contact with we're good and courteous. The driver wanted to move up the drop off time and was a little insistent on it , we had to explain to him we could not be in the home at that time. Other than that all during the load up and delivery of our products everything went smoothly. Again everyone that we came in contact with during this operation for more than polite and friendly. We found that mayflower is not only a good company to do business with but a very honest company to do business with I would recommend them to my friends.

The team in Chicago were great - positive, courteous and efficient. Once in Ohio, Ken's Ohio contact, Dennis, was just incredible. Between Ken and Dennis they moved us into our new home, and despite the fact that there were only two of them, the move in was still efficient, they remained courteous, and it went smoothly. I cannot say enough good things about Ken (Varrige Jr). What a great person, and a true professional.

Incompetent movers. Hired professionals. to move a baby grand piano. The movers did considerable damage to piano and claims department has limited desire to help.Says emailed forms but forms were not received. Will definitely not recommend Mayflower who sent United movers.

The men showed up on time to pick up the items. The delivery men showed up on time as well. Some items were damaged during the move.

The pickup was done very well, but the drop off was a disaster. Had to reassemble my own furniture. One of the laborers went into both the upstairs and basement frig and helped himself to our liquor and pepsi products even after they were offered bottles of water. Several boxes were dropped that had "FRAGILE" on them and all the employee could say was, "Oops." The same employee who went into our personal property, smoked in my garage and left his ashes on the garage floor. several items that were in Fragile boxes have been broken which some can be repaired while others will need to be replaced. My daughter had broken goblets that were a set, cannot be replaced as they are several years old and a gift of her father's. My antique china cabinet had broken wood trim around the glass door.What started out good ended up not acceptable. The driver and the other employee (josh) were very considerate, but we will never use Mayflower nor will we ever recommend them. Lisa & Mark Orton

Movers were great in getting my belongings in the pod, I did have to leave a few things behind due to not enough room on the truck. When the salesman came and did a walk through he said "a pod would fit everything I had". It did not. Maybe the salesman need to have a better idea of what the movers have to do in loading up the trucks. They were great! On the delivery end, movers did get everything in my place nicely with one exception. My enertainment center was not put together correctly. Glass shelf fell ( it did not break). I spoke with Jennifer regarding this. She said "she would get back to me on getting someone back to put it back together correctly". I have not received a a phone call back.I'm not looking for compensation for this. I paid for this service to be done correctly. I'm just looking for someone to do the right thing.

We payed for 3 container system, nevertheless, the delivery van came with everything not in containers, as signed on the contract, with several itmes damaged.

The move itself went well and my items arrived as promised. While packing up my stuff, however, the movers accidentally damaged the floor of my condo. The customer service and the folks that dealt with the damage were excellent and I was very satisfied with the outcome.

Paid over 10k for the move from IL to FL, and not only was our initial delivery on the very last day of the original delivery window, but when it finally did arrive only 60% of our items were there as the "truck was full". It has now been 10 days since the original delivery and i am being told that "we are pretty sure the delivery will be tomorrow" On top of all that, we will be making a claim on the insurance for ALL of my wine glasses being broken, a large are rug being brought in soaking wet and smelling, and an antique table being broken into 1/3rd's. I moved with Atlas van lines 3 years ago and was not totally satisfied with them, however you guys make them look like a dream in comparison.

Overall, I found the people on the pick up responsive and helpful. I thought the packers were professional and organized. On the receiving end, I think the movers could have used on additional person to help with moving some of the objects but they otherwise did a good job.

My move was seamless from start to finish. Packing took longer than expected, but everything was packed well. Upon arrival a week later all boxes and furnishings were accounted for and even though a few boxes were damaged, the contents inside were protected and there was no damage. The two guys who delivered the boxes and furnishings did an excellent job and everything was unloaded in about two hours.

Craig and his coworker were amazing. Our son lived in a townhouse. They carried from the top floor, 83 boxes of novels and comic books,2 bedroom sets and a treadmill 31 steps to their truck. Craig called for additional help, but none came. Also moved living/dining room and office furniture.and cleared out the garage. They arrived 8:30 am and left at 5;05 pm. They were professional, friendly and compassionate. Craig apologized for it taking them so long, none required. The day Craig delivered our son's belongings was very emotional to think that in that truck was our son's life. Again Craig was so understanding. We shall always remember his kindness. His helper at Monroe was also very good. so respectful. Your company should be very proud of these men.

We had a very smooth experience with Mayflower. There were periods of move in and out where workers felt somewhat inefficient and not moving as fast as possible, but they were very thorough, careful and friendly.

The move overall was fine except for the fact that our belongings arrived 2 days later than what we were told , this cost extra money for hotels and food , we relocated from Ill. to AZ. , so we literally had nothing with us , and because we were given a specific date , we rushed while driving to get here , had we known , the drive would not have been so hard for us , especially traveling with pets , we never received a call from the company or the driver , I ended up contacting the driver around 4pm the day we were supposed to be delivered and he told me that he had just picked up his truck in Little Rock and that he would be here Wed. morning instead of Mon.

Move went extremely well considering past moving experiences. Our driver and crew were always on time, if not early, and very efficient. There were only a few minor damaged items that are not worth filing, so overall we were very pleased.

The last few hours of delivery, the team became sloppy and Jim seemed more eager to fold his blankets then supervising them. We are discovering several damages including the gash on the wood stairways that were not covered with runner for some inexplicable reason. We have only opened 5% of the boxes therefore this feedback is immature.

I'd like to preface this by saying that the delivery and packing team were outstanding. The team that loaded our furniture had two trainees a leader and one other mover. They were standing and giving classes to the two new movers with our items. When I called the office two replace these movers they failed to do so and left us in the situation. I watched these two young men attempt to wrap items and drop things. I watched one young man push a hole in the wall attempting to pick up a chair alone. I pointed it out to the seasoned mover who immediately became belligerent and rude saying "I didn't do that shit". I just walked away as he was being hostile. I walked on outside to hear the seasoned mover calling me foul curse words in front of my family and neighbors which he was not aware I was standing there. He was saying this all loudly to the Leader. Continued....

Carl's customer service was top notch, he came out on a weekend to modify the initial survey, saving me much time and money. Deborah's coordination was top notch, keeping me up to date on all info concerning packers/movers. Ken the driver and his helper were fantastic, my wife was very happy with where they placed everything, also don't want to forget Tom, the packer = nothing broken, well done on packing boxes. I am well pleased with the cost and efficiency in which this move took place. I have moved several times in the Military and Corporate and this was the least stressful move, thanks to your team

The movers in Chicago did not box items, wrap the furniture in plastic wrap and just seemed in a great hurry to get everything out. Furniture arrived with some items marred or broken. These items had not been wrapped as was promised. The movers on The Buffalo end were very cautious with all items.
