Absolutely perfect from start to finish. They were in constant communication, everything was locked in on the date i wanted, the packers and movers were on time & professional and nothing was missing or broken. I couldn’t be happier.

Driver was fine. One of our bookcases was delivered broken. It would be nice to get it fixed. Pickup and delivery were on time.

Movers were very professional and courteous. Also, move coordinator, Julia, was very helpful. What a pleasant experience. They wrapped everything securely. Nothing was damaged or missing.

Everyone was very helpful and cordial. The driver accommodated our delivery schedule. The first weight estimate was about 25% more than actual, but they revised it, which helped.

My experience was great. I had not moved for over forty years and expected the worse. However, my firsts meeting with Gary Jones from sales gave me reassurance. Gary was outstanding and responsive to the many changes involved in the move. Dara, who handled the arrangements and scheduling was extremely courteous and a joy to work with. Derwood Jones and his crew were hard working and did a great job.

The unpacking/unloading at the destination was fantastic. The packers/loaders at the start were horrific. Terrible inventory, 50% of my boxes were damaged or crushed.

The packers and movers were very professional, friendly adn helpful. they made our stressful moving experience a good one. We moved from a 5 bedroom home in MD to a 2 bedroom apartment in MN. A BIG move for us

For the most part, the move went smoothly. However, one of our packers (Marcus) was sloppy in most of his packing. Most loose items he was working with (pictures, knick-knacks, office items, etc.) were not wrapped and were simply placed in the bottom of wardrobe boxes. Many pictures and smaller items were scratched/damaged.

Certain aspects went very well, and some less so. We were very happy with driver and his move teams, as well as the administration staff. However, packing crew and work product was unsatisfactory.

Every single box had something broken in it, and every piece of my furniture was scratched, dented, and even reassembled wrong. I will never use Mayflower again.

Overall it was much better than doing everything myself obviously. Everyone I worked with was pleasant. The packing was messy sometimes and I lost several irreplaceable things as well as damage to a new couch. That was disappointing. But the claim department did ultimately compensate for the damages to furniture and items.

The packers & movers were understaffed and required additional help; never got help. The last day the movers arrived at 10AM and stayed till 2:30AM. They were unable to move the 700 lbs safe which was the #1 reason we hired them. Another crew had to come after the projected date to get additional load and extra items. We had a shuttle service which required our items to be taken to the warehouse to transfer to a semi. 1/2 our items arrived but damaged/ripped couch, chipped cement patio table, and dropped dining rm table coming off the truck, stacked our high value bikes on top of each other w/out any wrapping and those are damaged. Waiting 2 weeks and still have not received the rest of our items. Damaged our walls and entry ways moving items into new house. Driver left at 1AM to arrive in Ohio @ 11AM unpacked semi, left @8:30PM and drove straight pack. Very unsafe and did not pay for abuse to workers. We are very disappointed in everything!!!

Dara kept me well informed throughout the entire process. She was always very patient with my many questions . Gary did a great job with the quote and kept me up to date with Tate changes when we added additional large items to our move . Our driver was great when he picked up and dropped off.

everyone from Gary Jones who estimated my move to Dara who coordinated to the Baltimore driver and helpers to the crew who unloaded in Indiana were professional, knowledgeable, kind, helpful and courteous. A+ all the way around. What a delightful surprise.

Our contact with mayflower was fantastic, always keeping in touch and answering any questions. I was however surprised at how items were packed. Some boxes items were wrapped and protected, other boxes items were thrown in. We had art work mixed in with living room accessories,lamps in pieces that now are bent and cannot be put back together. We are working on a claim for broken items

From the start of our relationship with VIP/ Mayflower in January, this process was made so much easier with the help of this fantastic team. We met Gary Jones when he came to our home to do the estimate and were impressed with his assuring us that all would go well. Gary was very thorough and professional. After Choosing VIP, we began working with Dara Kolander the move coordinator. She precisely explained the process and kept us informed every step from packing to loading then delivery. Also answered many questions from anxious clients. The packers, loaders and especially the driver, Jason were excellent. All of our belongings Arrived without a scratch! VIP/Mayflower made this move a breeze.

The overall experience was good. The loaders did what they were supposed to do and the guys that unloaded were good. The driver was nice and got to the las Vegas location on the day promised. There were a couple of things that got demaged but overall the experience was good.

Overall the move was excellent. No damaged or broken pieces. The packers that came to pack my items did an excellent job. The only downside of the entire move was that the delivery date was moved from Monday to Wednesday and nobody contacted me. I had to call the office to find out why the delivery was late. But the delivery once it arrived on the new scheduled date went very smoothly. The men who were on the truck did a great job and were very professional.

Every step of the move was painless, from working with Gary for the initial appointment, through coordinating with Dara on the specifics of the move, to working with Tim and his crew for the loading and unloading of our household goods.
