Delivery very late--11 days. Poor communication. Promises not kept. Felt jerked around and lied to.

Great move from TN, not so great on the arrival in NC. It took to long to get here. Roger and his son worked for seven hours and the job would have been a total failure if it were not for my son-in-law. I allowed them to put all the boxes in the garage to lighten the load. They were unable to get my furniture ( two bedroom sets ) upstairs without the assistance of my son-in-law. They did not assemble our beds or place the furniture were requested. We did that work: even though Roger said he could come back tomorrow, we decline. One of my very thick end table's glass was broken and I know it will be hard to replace. Maybe when you have a different crew delivering the furniture it should be noted or wrapped in a red blanket. Roger was upset when it happened. I was unable to take a picture of the broken glass as Roger kept it on the truck. That sums it up

The Mayflower staff that we encountered knows their business, professional and courteous. Overall, they were awesome from Cindy packing down to the newest man on the unloading crew. Stacy and Joe were competent and made us feel better about the whole experience. They stacked our stuff in rows that we can walk up and down to access our items. I was concerned that it would be like hay stacked in a barn! Generally, we felt comfortable having this crew in our home. They didn't stand around. We had a crew move us once and we paid for a good bit of standing. Jeff was the most competent person that we met with and we spoke with three other companies. They handled our property with respect and had boxes built for some items. Nothing was loaded that wasn't wrapped!!! Priceless! Tammy was most helpful, she has a beautiful personality! Would use them again and definitely recommend to any poor soul undertaking a move.

As promised by Andy, the move was efficient, careful & courtesly handled by both the packers & movers. While the arrival date in FL was a few days later than promised, the timing worked out perfectly for us as we were finishing with new flooring in the bedrooms when Lee & Caleb arrived, and the movers & flooring installers were easily able to complete their assigned tasks without delay or interruption to their assigned tasks. Tammy was extraordinarily courteous & responsive to our inquiries about the late arrival & her responsiveness & sympathetic ear helped us remain patient. Overall, we are extremely pleased with the effort & professionalism displayed by everyone employed by your company to make our move happen without adding to an already stressful situation!

I was given a delivery window of July 4-11 and my furniture was delivered August 2nd. The agent assigned out of Tupelo, MS was Tammy Green who was the most unprofessional. Had no idea about anything, did not answer phone calls or emails. In your busy time, give a 4 week window of delivery so that your customers can plan better. Its hard to live with nothing for that period of time and all you hear is that there is no driver. If you don't have driver, don't take the job.

The men who came and moved my home and then delivered were great. The office people I dealt with in scheduling made for this to be a bad experience. They forced the schedule up by 1 day prior than what I requested and told me it would take 2 days to move due to the size. 6 hrs into the move and the office was calling the moves at my home telling them they need to wrap up this move ASAP because they were scheduled elsewhere. The movers left at the direction of the office and my wife and I had to move several boxes and items ourselves. There was never a 2 day schedule and being forced to be ready a day earlier was very inconvenient. Also, the delivery, which I was told could have been there early in the window, waited until the very last day of the scheduled window for delivery. The crew that arrived indicated that our items could have been delivered earlier but wasn't for some unknown reason. If it weren't for the superb crew, I would have lowered my rating to a 1.

The entire team from the sales person who visited our house and give the estimate to unloading in Tarpon Springs a very professional team. The calls from Tupelo to keep us informed and answer any questions was very helpful. A big thanks from the Jarrett's, well done Mayflower team.

My experience was superb. Each team member was knowledgeable, courteous, and timely. I felt that my business was valued and great care was given to ensure my belongings were moved from Point A to Point B.
