Hate moving but got stuff on time and not broken

Had a wonderful experience with Mayflower! Both the pick-up and Drop-off were smooth, and the movers were extremely professional. Zero issues

Moving crew did an excellent job for a less than typical move. Planning by the office and estimator was less than satisfactory. Too Large of a trailer was sent which blocked traffic and police forced them to move immediately creating a chaotic mess. Insufficient number of people were sent to to move on schedule. These delays causedan extra day for move out and a delay in house sale closing.

It went very smoothly. We have only moved a few times and never so far, your team made the process made it less stressful. Al, your salesman/estimater, was very good. He was not only knowledgeable and accurate but friendly. I believe he is an important asset to your company. Our driver, Mike, is also an asset and a complete professional.

Loved the driver, Richard Avis. Unfortunately, his two helpers on the NH side were awful - lazy, disrespectful and not helpful to Mr. Avis at all.

Great referral from a friend. Totally stress free. Professionalism at it's BEST! We will be moving again in the near future and will be asking Mayflower to help again. Great value for the service. ALL are to be commended!!!

From the very first phone call, when I spoke to A REAL PERSON, I knew I would use Mayflower. It was a pure delight to always deal with people instead of recordings. It was a difficult time for me, but they made it so much easier!!

Overall very good. The people at McLaughlin were great. They gave us the info we needed and communicated well. The gentleman who actually drove the truck (William Terry) was fantastic. He was professional, on time, communicated well, and worked very hard...everything I expected and more. However, there was a crew from another location (Portland, ME) that came to help pack us up. They were nice gentlemen, but had NO idea what they were doing packing things, wrapping things, moving things etc. As a result a number of small things were broken and/or damaged in the move.

Horrible experience- Ive moved a lot this was a nightmare. driver couldn't be reached by Lori to give us an ETA, never checked in so I could view his locations with the link provided to me, no 24 hour notice given on 1st attempt , no unpacking help which was paid for, move broken up into two shipments last minute, several different dates given on both drops. Talk to Lori or Shelly at Unigroup. I have filed complains with the Texas Dept of Transportation

All Appliances BADLY dented, scratched, gouged. EVERY piece of furniture has dings, scrapes, scratches. Mayflower company quoted, bound price quote then said shipment weighed 50% more. Shameful - even driver said day was windy and he doubted weight on scale. I was charged 50% more anyway. I've had to seek an attorney to recover my damages.

Over all experience was okey. The guy who picked up the shipment was not very cooperative and arrogant, mainly the lead one. Mine was a small shipment but his attitude was he is taking a huge luggage whereas we did most of the packing before they arrived. The delivery people was much better. The main problem was the shipment coordinator. She could not even locate the truck or the driver or the shipment for many days and was giving incorrect information regarding delivery date.Later I discovered my shipment being a small one came with other shipments (though within the delivery date provided by Mayflour). The lady could have been transparent with me in that case I would have made arrangements accordingly.

The original proposal inspector had to come to the house twice to inspect the items being moved. We went from 14,000 lbs to 19,000 lbs. He also LIED to me TWICE (have proof from e-mails he sent) promising us boxes a week before so that we could start moving. The boxes never came.

My moving assistant, Lori Bellavance was amazing with me. She provided emotional support and respected my sensitive state while reassuring me that I could trust the process. Her communication skills allowed me to render my anxieties thday come with out of state moving. I can't thank her enough for her professionalism and human touch. I have my things in storage while I look for an apartment yet, I'm confident that my belongings ate well taken care of. Thank you to McLaughlin, Mayflower, and Lori Bellavance.

We were generally pleased with the service though expected better. Some asects of the service need improvement to make the company better. Accuracy of time estimates, attitude of employees, and proper maintenance of equipment.

Horrible. I’m missing items. The packers took longer then I was contract for and we’re careless and broke my items. Move coordinator was hard to work with because she was “new”. Was changed almost $3,000 more then I was quoted.

Damage to most of my belongings and vehicle. Lack of customer service. Loaded my belongings on August 9th and did not deliver until September 12th! Lack of follow up on damaged items/claims. Lack of followup on communications. One person does not know what the other is doing. No internal coordination. VERY VERY unhappy customer here!!

Once things got going everything was great. However there was a period from when I had the in-home evaluation and indicated I wanted to go with Mayflower to when I had paperwork prepared and signed that communication was lacking. I felt I was driving the process and having to ask for next steps to get things settled. It definitely gave me pause about my decision. However, once through that phase the service was great and the coordinator was helpful both around the pick up and the delivery scheduling.

Moving day is stressful, no matter how much planning you've done and how excited you are. The Mayflower team was pleasant, calm and easy to work with from morning until late afternoon.

I was disappointed that we ended up having an overflow load. However, Kate Messner did a great job coordinating the whole process and communicating with us on the overall status.

Incomplete, as our truck showed up without nearly enough space to take our stuff. We had to make last minute alternate plans and the Mayflower truck left without any of our goods.
