Just on comment. It would be helpful to have a direct phone number to call when a problem might occur, keeping in mind the time difference in a cross country move.

Some minor lack of communication between myself and service rep, also between service rep and moving crew - No TV box so it had to go in my car. Crew very pleasant, enthusiastic, and patiently helpful. Very little stress, no real damage to anything so far.

The movers on both ends of the move were very polite, friendly, and helpful. The up front estimate process was easy. No hidden fees after the move.

The packers and movers were great in so many ways. However, the sales person was way off on the weight, which after interviewing 6 other companies that had our weight higher, I questioned our sales person who assured me he was correct. When he came back to do another survey he added several thousand pounds. Nothing had changed in our inventory, if anything it should have gone down as we purged greatly since his first visit. One item that could be improved upon - when packing items with cord, pack them together!!

We had a great experience from the consultant nick from sinclair movers to the driver Edward Freeze the loader AJ in NJ to the unloader Garritt in FL. Ed the driver was amazing and everyone could not have done any more to help us.Great customer service from these people.

I had worked with Olsen Brothers before, and they have always been wonderful! I insisted that we use them on the IL end of the move. I have already recommended them to two local families. Sinclair was also great, and I would recommend them.

Not know what to expect, we had a real fear of our our pending move. However within a few minutes of meeting our driver he relieved many of our apprehensions. With his help, finishing the packing and preparing everything for the move went very smoothly and timely. There were no hidden charges.

Scheduling the move (scheduling the in-person quote to hiring the company) was seamless and quite easy. Scheduling the delivery was much more challenging. We live in a high-rise in downtown Chicago. We have to coordinate with the management company to obtain use of the loading dock at least a few days in advance. The delivery driver called asking for a delivery day. We told him the situation and said we'd need to call him back. Despite calling back within an hour, he didn't answer, and in fact didn't call us for several days. We finally heard from him Sunday afternoon. At that point he wanted to deliver on or before Tuesday or, in his words, "I'll have to put your stuff in storage." Fortunately our landlord was more accommodating, but this driver acted like he had no idea how apartment buildings in cities work.

There was some lack of communication between the sales agent and the driver, but all was corrected and the driver did an amazing job. We used Sinclair/Mayflower on the recommendation of a neighbor and we would still recommend them.

I cannot say enough about the gentlemen that loaded and unloaded the furniture and other items. They were professional, accommodating and extremely patient when dealing with my 77 year old mom. I wish there was more I could do to impress upon you how amazing they were.

Overall my experience with Mayflower/Sinclair was an excellent experience. We packed everything ourselves as I was in the Moving business for 15 summers so I knew what to expect. Our movers were experienced and very professional and I was very confident we would be in good hands...and we were.

The movers and truck driver, Eddie, were kind, courteous, efficient, and hard working. They moved my entire 5 bedroom house into the truck in 6.5 hours. They delivered all of my belongs across country without anything breaking!

Our agent and the men who came to pack and load were all very pleasant, polite, and efficient. The took good care of our questions or concerns and of the household goods we shipped. On the receiving end, the men who unloaded and delivered were equally pleasant and efficient.

The crew of 3 who loaded and moved my furniture in Millville, NJ to my daughter in Gloucester, MA were polite, accommodating, efficent and oh so professional. My daughter who was at the other end of the move commentex abouttheir politeness and she said they worked very hard while handling furniture and boxes marked fragile with care. This load was moved into a storage facility and my daughter said they carefully stored everything with an eye to protecting all the surfaces of the furniture. They also provided some advice about storage that she and her husband really appreciated as they had no idea.

Darryl, Alfonso and Santiago were professional, helpful and always a step ahead. I couldn't ask for a better team of men to move us from NJ to FL. They made our moving experience easy for us, but a lot of work for them. I would hope to have the same team if we ever move again.

My overall experience was very good. The packers/loaders did an excellent job and the delivery men also did an excellent job. My only issue was the salesman Nick (who I really thought was personable and went with Mayflower because of our meeting) underestimated how many boxes I needed so then on packing & moving day (raining all day) I had to drive around buying boxes that were needed. I felt this was his job to know how many boxes I needed, he is the saleman and I have no idea how many boxes it takes to move a home. I had to pay out of pocket over an additional $100.

Sinclair/Mayflower made my move from NJ to FL easy. They movers were very professional and courteous. The pick up was as stated and delivery was before designated time (made me happy!). Definitely recommend.

Nick Schossig was an excellent sales agent, however once it was out of his hands and into the hands of the people responsible for our boxes it was a horrible horrible experience. 6 days later than our guaranteed delivery date and one huge box filled with expensive items went missing. There was a third part involved as well. It was a disaster

Main mover/driver Sean Perkins was WONDERFUL and would recommend him to anyone. He was timely, thorough and professional. Sadly we had to file a police report due to theft of bottle of new prescription drugs - narcotic Vicodin. My husband had back surgery 1 week prior to move. I told all workers no one needed to go into our dining room as nothing in there was to be moved.My husbands meds were in a large rubber container (sadly it was see through)in the dining room. There was a time when we were both in the yard with the driver Sean doing inventory. Helper "stephen" - a local hire was in our house taking bed apart. I had made a point to tell all movers my husband had just had surgery so he could not do much moving around. We discovered drugs were missing that evening. This young man took a tip from me of $40 with a smile on his face. How cruel to steal! Due to narcotic laws/prescription dispensing my husband has been without his pain meds making what would have been a 5 star rating a 3.

I have never moved before were I needed a moving company. I experience I had with Mayflower was great. They made the move easy for me and I was able to make contact with anyone I needed to speak with and they were always kind and helpful.

Packers and delivery personnel were great. Cooridinator was difficult esp when it came to arranging delivery. Submitted a damage claim but after 3 weeks, still have not been contacted by an adjuster

The guys that loaded our things were great and very nice and professional the ladys that packed our things were great they did a great job and very professional. We just had a problem with a miss understanding that the pack was part of the contract so this delayed us by a hour and half. Should be more specific when doing a contract next time.

From the good experience and quality with the local packing and loading crew service with Mayflower affiliate Sinclair Movers, to their long term warehousing, to flexibility adding to load months later, to the x-country transport move, to the team unloading and assembling, our family had a good experience with Mayflower. They did what they contracted and promised at a very competitive price. Nothing was lost. Out of FIVE TONS of household belongings, sure a handful of items were broken or dinged. No big deal. We're satisfied clients.
