I chose Mayflower as our Mover because of the personal touch provided from the initial interview with Marion Traylor and then Debbie Hiltner. They both gave us the feeling we--and our belongings--were more than a job. When I called or email with an issue or question, I always received a quick and caring response. Later, when it was time to move, our driver, Nat, again took a very personal interest in carrying us from Virginia to Alabama. We did experience a few "hiccups" along the way. One item was broken in transit and we did experience some significant damage to hall and stairway walls as well as scratching and gouging of our wood flooring. This, I feel, could have been avoided by more care in moving some of the heavy furniture items. No padding, except a micro thin neoprene runner, was placed on the ground. This was good for keeping the floor dry, but not from scratching. We also ended up leaving our $2,700 refrigerator behind because of lack of planning by the crew.

The packing and delivery went well and as planned. My things are in my house but not yet unpacked. Waiting for the final touches on my new home.

While the professionalism of the driver and his principal assistant on the loading and unloading portion of the move was outstanding, as we unpack, the overall quality of the packing, loading, and unloading crew leaves much to be desired. Thus far, multiple examples of damage, i.e., broken items of china, crystal, dishes and crockery, lamp shades, plus a chair rung and the leg of a side table have appeared, and a large number of cartons are yet to be opened.

my furniture was scratched when it arrived. my bed is a total loss. they even lost the slats for the bed.

The overall move was highly satisfactory. The services was professionally organised. There was no time delay. The goods arrived in good condition.

They came in and packed us up, and loaded us up the next day. We had 14000 pounds. They were nice and worked quickly and efficiently and they arrived early on the day they said they would, unloaded everything in 3 hours....very professional, and nice guys!

Kind ofstrange. NEver saw may flower. Never saw any green trucks. Had a truck driver not from usa but elsewhere in a white truck and trailer marked united with help that came and went who forgot inventoried furniture then promised a date tfor delivery but rushed us to be there for delivery two days earlier due to health problems in trk drivers family enough that we felt threatened and w purchased plane ticket at $800+ & hired ride from airport to house plus slept alnone at new home alone two nights with out husband. In addition furniture was damaged by movers. Over all not happy.

Doug, Norma and the moving guys at both ends were great. Jeanne Davis was helpful and responsive. Debbie in the office was average.

The mover's were very careful in loading and unloading our belongings. Nothing was damaged or broken. They were very polite and professional in all aspects of our move.

The business side of the move was top notch. Competitive rates and great customer experience. From the driver and delivery side of things it wasn't the best.

Jeanine and Debbi from the Kloke Group in Richmond VA were fantastic. Every step of the way the communication was top-notch and every person we came in contact with was professional, responsive and easy to deal with.

The sales woman was pleasant. The people who came by to pack my items and load the truck took care and did a great job. However, the communication after that point was extremely poor as I had to reach out to my move coordinator every time to get updates on my move. Also, I had to contact the moving company while waiting in my vacant house on my delivery date to find out my items hadn't even been shipped yet. I also received emails addressed to other clients. I could list more examples but I think these are sufficient.

The gentlemen took time to wrap each piece of furniture. They did not rush, and were very careful. They were very courteous and good at what they did.

Debbi, my move coordinator was fantastic - detail oriented and followed up with me multiple times. James - who drove the truck and lead the packers/unpackers was very personable and called me more than once to make sure he had all the details correct for pick up and drop off.

The move was a good one. The only problem was the lack of help for the driver. he was short=handed at both ends of the trip. The loading of the truck took much longer than necessary because there were only two men. At this end, there was no one to help Clyde for a long time. Finally, two young men showed up and did a wonderful job.

Very good! The only thing that I thought could have been better was to have more than two men loading, we had a large load which was too much and time consuming for two people.
