Every person that I encountered at Mayflower was professional, friendly and helpful. From Alex Naish, who came out twice to provide estimates for the move, to Jeanie Dorich who was my move coordinator, to Marcus Mitchell who was the driver who picked up my personal belongings in Ohio and then delivered them to me Los Angeles, they were all exceptional. I was anxious about the move and had a lot of questions for each of them. They were all very patient with me and took time to thoroughly explain the process which gave me a clear understanding and reassurance. Everything transpired exactly as they said that it would. There were no negative surprises. If anything I was pleasantly surprised by the level of service and the commitment to handling my possessions with care. Marcus was exceptional in that there were difficulties beyond his control when it came time deliver my belongings in Los Angeles but he went above and beyond to ensure that everything was delivered as promised.

Pretty seemless, no issues. Everyone was responsive to questions throughout.

I was mostly satisfied with the process, and its simplicity but there were some issues that I encountered. The consultant who came to my apartment for an estimate assured me that all of my furniture would fit into 2 crates. He seemed knowledgeable and I trusted him in this respect. When the movers arrived, they were adamant that this wasn't the case, and told me I should have ordered 3 crates. I also told them that I wanted all of my furniture to go, but didn't care so much if I needed to remove some of the boxes from the transport. One of the movers told me they were the experts and they would pack the crates. When the 2nd crate was getting packed, I had to plead with them to attempt fitting in the couch and the bed (I was hoping they would put one of these in the first crate) but unfortunately, both of these didn't fit in the same crate, and I had to leave my couch behind. - men who connected W&D hooked the hoses to the opposite faucets (cold to hot, and vice versa)
