Everyone involved in our move was friendly and helpful. The estimate was fair, Eric, the driver and his loading crew were on time and very professional throughout the all day loading. And they were able to park the truck close and avoid the estimated $900 shuttle, but it remains unknown if we will be refunded the unnecessary charge. Delivery was a day later than planned but tolerable for a cross country move with unknown traffic hazards. Eric and unloading crew were on time and very cooperative and helpful throughout our two-stop unloading. Only after the hustle and exhaustion did I realize that while there is “weight allowance” credit clause for under running the weight, we were shown what the actual weights were. The final paperwork really treats the process as a fixed price.

Our mover was great. My suggestion would be to include putting furniture back together as part of the moving package

My move experience was great except when I was packed, the movers had a truck to small for my items. They advised that a new truck was coming and asked could they leave my sofa outside on the ground. When I asked how long would it be before the new truck arrived that they stated 2 to 3 hours. Why would you ask me could they leave my furniture on a sidewalk for 1 to 2 hours hours? They seemed a bit annoyed when I told them no, please bring the couch back in my house. Please advise your drivers that unless a new truck is coming right then, that is not a question that should even be asked. By the way it was 3 hours before it came.

Overall, it was a good experience. Easy to schedule. Packing and move went smoothly. However, the organization on delivery was poor. Everything was unloaded but Mayflower NEVER coordinated the unpackers to come. We ended up waiting almost a week then unpacking ourselves. And then took 3 MONTHS to get our refund.

Although I found all of your employees easy to work with and seemingly professional, you lost a number of key items in my move. Then after I was told that I had paid the total amount for my move I was charged additional storage, when I called to discuss it none of my contacts answered my calls or my emails.

The loading process took 12 hours, much longer than expected. One of the team guys seemed to be an intern, was passive to find things to do.

Overall move experience good. Packers were excellent, unpackers very good. I was confused at times about whom I was dealing with--and had no idea what our "move coordinator's" role was, but other than that, fine.
