Claims and Loss Prevention
Our claims settlement system allows customers to file directly online with photo/support documentation upload capability. It has built-in emergency claims services for expedited response and team assignment allocation providing customer contact within 24-48 hours. Our highly-efficient process eliminates bottlenecks and duplicative efforts within the system. We also provide real-time reporting and have excellent working relationships with our vendors.
Driver and Labor Solutions
UniGroup has an internal driver recruiting group to help our agents meet their capacity needs. We nationally source leads from a variety of industry-leading websites and social media avenues. Our team works as an extension of your agency by making initial contact, selling to your specific job, and qualifying the driver. Finally, the driver is referred to the agent for further interviews and to make a final decision to extend an offer.
UniGroup offers agents a Planning and Dispatch Program that provides three main benefits: a holistic approach to hauling support management, a lower cost dispatch solution for small-to-midsize agents, and an optional van operator support service. All agents are welcome to enroll in the program for one month or several, depending on their needs.

Procurement and Purchasing
The UniGroup procurement and purchasing team consistently works to find new programs, evaluate and improve existing programs, and develop efficiency protocols that not only save money by controlling spending but bring operational value to the UniGroup system.
In 2019, the procurement team began tackling areas both inside UniGroup headquarters and throughout the agent network. Savings have already been realized in areas such as multi-purpose copiers, IT equipment, travel, fuel, packing and carton supplies.
Trans Advantage Programs
Trans Advantage serves agents and van operators of Mayflower Transit and United Van Lines, as well as other professional movers across the country. Its primary functions include selling and financing tractors, trucks and trailers.
Through a specialized division, Trans Advantage offers agents a full line of money-saving products and services made possible through the combined buying power of the Mayflower and United agents. These products and services include uniforms and apparel, promotional items, cartons, decals, tires, equipment rentals, truck and engine parts, emergency breakdown service and fuel/cash advance.

The UniGroup training and development team provides our learning management system (LMS) powered by artificial intelligence to elevate your workforce. We support personalized learning paths for every individual to develop and increase performance necessary to grow your business with over 300+ courses covering safety, compliance, sales, technology and more.
