This was the best move I have ever experienced. I have done several before, including with the Army. This was the best. The movers were polite, considerate, capable and helpful. They appeared on time at the origin and the destination. The furniture is in good shape. Great move!

Late picking up our belongings, caused us to be 7 hours late to the start of our CC road trip. 3 days after the original drop off my belongings show up. Several items are damaged. We received an entire bin of someone's belongings. Missing part of our inventory. Drop off driver barely spoke 5 words to me. Just had me sign a sheet which apparently with my right to check off the inventory as it arrived

From first visit by scott mcelfrish to final delivery by Joe Martinez the move from California to texas was professional smooth and met all our expectations.

The estimate process was easy and wonderful. The actual move was a little annoying Our things were picked up by one crew in California, transported to a warehouse, then reloaded and trucked to Texas, then apparently they were offloaded and put into another truck to bring to our house. Seems like an excessive amount of loading and unloading of our things. In the warehouse many of our things were taken apart. And while I understand this may be standard practice, it was not explained to me that this would be done, and as a result of it some of the hardware went missing. Which brings me to the claims issue, I filed a claim about the few things that were broken or had missing hardware almost a month now and have yet to hear a peep from anyone. I emailed the claims person to find out if I could get some update on things and was just told "Claims are handled in the order they are received" and nothing else! I am most unhappy about that part of this while process!

The support was outstanding, the movers were careful and respectful, the driver worked out some timing issues and the move was as painless and smooth. And this was while I was fighting pneumonia and really needed strong support!

Estimator helpful with suggestions, move out team courteous, professional, and efficient. Driver courteous, professional, and timely. Only complaint I have is the legs on my bed base and couch were removed and placed in an unmarked box which was placed inside of another box with no notation on the bill of lading or inventory. Unable to locate them until all of packed so was not able to assemble bed at first.

Very terrible & frustrating experience I am going through by choosing Mayflower. I must say this is the worst customer service I have experienced till date. Once you guys get the payment even before delivery of shipment you are liable & accountable of providing good support but Mayflower does exactly opposite. They are least bothered about delivery & customer service. With the way things gets handled there, I even doubt you have any customer service desk. If your guys doesn’t even know how to pack & handle fragile things, I seriously doubt how you have survived till date. I would rather throw my items or give away for free if I have to choose your services in the future. Even after damaging the items your delivery guys don’t show any remorse on their face & don’t have courtesy to answer the questions properly

As someone who previously had a terrible move with a hostage goods situation, having everything taken care of from pickup to delivery was a giant relief. After using MoveRescue to recover my hostage goods, I decided to use one of the sponsors of that service, Mayflower or United. Going with Mayflower was an absolute pleasure from getting the initial estimate to getting everything delivered. Everything was explained to me and everyone I interacted with was courteous and professional.

The whole process was broken from the start. the rep did not come out to look at my belongings so the estimate of space required was completely wrong. All my wifes clothing did not make it on the truck.When the truck arrived 95% of the boxes were crushed and our 4 poster bed had major damage. It had not been wrapped by the people loading the truck. I was then told to file a loss and they would pay $.60 per pound. Not funny. Never again. I also warned my real estate person to stop recommending Mayflower

The packers and the unpackers were very professional. Communication from the coordinator about the status of our move was spotty at best. Scheduling the pickup time and trying to figure out when the packers would arrive was quite problematic. Then the delivery was delayed by more than 10 days. The answer we would get from our coordinator was "we are looking for a driver". What! You should have done that before things were getting picked up! We got paid for the delay but the whole experience was exasperating. Also they broke our TV. There was no external damage to the box or the TV but i'm pretty sure the whole box was dropped pretty hard on its side. Something broke internally so the insurance refused to cover it.

We moved the first half of our house 18 months ago, and the second half recently. The first move went very well and smoothly. The second move had a few issues. Mayflower, and specifically Chipman relocations, handled all of the problems expeditiously, efficiently, and personably. The service team is the best I have ever worked with.

Overall, we had a good experience. We were the most pleased with the brother team who came and packed up our condo. We were most disappointed by four of the crew members who came the next day to load. The crew supervisor was great. But his team, my husband found on several occasions sitting in the truck and conversing, while their boss was upstairs loading up. This cost us, we believe at least and hour and a half of wasted time. The supervisor couldn't have been in two places at once. Thankfully my husband kept gathering the four men to come on up and assist.

The coordination with your subcontractors was less than adequate. I had to do all the arranging of delivery and payment of the workers to unload.

After going through a corporate move that went very well, I expected the same level of service when I paid for a reverse of the same move personally. That was not the case. Poor coordination and communication on multiple levels. While all of my items made it safely to their destination, the organization behind the move was not solid.

Property was shipped to the wrong location due to acknowledged error by the van lines. This resulted in a weeklong delay, substantial personal costs incurred, general discomfort, and damaged property. I will never use this company again and will actively discourage friends and family from doing so as well.
