  Chris Cartwright was our van driver. He was efficient, professional and in control. He made us feel confident about transitioning to our new home. Our contact man, Richard Higgins, was professional, patient and polite. He took time to explain every question I asked and was available for extra advice when I called him. The labor force at both beginning and end of our move were careful but efficient. They moved at a steady pace, but with a smile. Chris being the star of our move. He is an expert and we feel privileged to have had him as “our man in charge.” My one frustration was in payment. It took more than six times and several phone calls with Richard to finally get my credit card to register. I was told this was a new system being employed and that there was some confusion because of two different carriers mentioned on my estimate. Hopefully, this will be corrected for future Mayflower/United Van Lines customers. We were agreeable with the amount charged for our move and pleased with the itemized invoice. We drove our car the 1300+ miles through several busy cities and road construction and it was tense many times. This made us appreciate what the semi drivers contend with in their huge moving vans. Thank you for helping us relocate.
