Carlos Godina of Conser Moving & Storage Named Mayflower Transit Van Operator of the Year

Jacksonville, Florida (March 14, 2025) — Carlos Godina of Conser Moving & Storage in Jacksonville, Florida, was named Mayflower Transit’s 2025 Van Operator of the Year in the Household Goods East category. The award honors Godina’s exceptional performance in customer service and safety. He was recognized at the Company’s recent award ceremony in St. Louis.   

Godina has dedicated more than 35 years to Mayflower, always prioritizing customer comfort and confidence. “I enjoy putting the customers at ease, as they typically are nervous when I start, but when I begin to wrap all of their goods they are impressed,” Godina said. Now, he’s sharing his extensive knowledge of the trucking industry with his sons, hoping to one day pass his truck down to them.

There are more than 1,300 van operator professionals in the Mayflower network, and Godina was one of the three winners this year. The van operator of the year began in the late 1970s to recognize the men and women who sacrifice so much for a life on the road and who help other families through one of the most stressful times in their lives.
