Dodge Moving and Storage Receives Mayflower Transit’s 2023 Move For Hunger Award

EARTH CITY, MO – April 4, 2023 – Dodge Moving and Storage of Earth City, Missouri, received Mayflower Transit’s 2023 Move For Hunger Award at the company’s recent Learning Conference held in St. Louis, Missouri. The award was presented by Move For Hunger’s Executive Director Adam Lowy. The award truly distinguishes Dodge Moving and Storage as a company who continues to exemplify its dedication to fighting hunger in a big way.

Dodge Moving and Storage has been part of the Move For Hunger network since 2014. The company remains persistent in providing a solution to one of America’s biggest problems, hunger and food waste. Through their partnership, Dodge has collected more than 27,000 pounds of food. This translates to providing nearly 23,000 meals to those in need.

Dodge is very proud to receive the Move For Hunger award. It’s an honor to partner with this great organization in fighting hunger and food waste. The entire Dodge team is involved in supporting this philanthropic effort and making a difference in our community.

In 2022 alone, Dodge Moving and Storage were able to collect 18,721 pounds (about the weight of a school bus) which translates to 15,601 meals.

At this’s years conference, the Move For Hunger team partnered with UniGroup’s network to help package meal kits that help feed a family of four. Participants were able to package six different meals, which were later donated to Operation Food Search in St. Louis, Missouri. Over 500 meal kits were assembled by the end of the event, feeding nearly 2,000 people.
