West Berlin, New Jersey – (March 11, 2024) – Edward Fries of Sinclair Moving & Storage out of West Berlin, New Jersey, was awarded Mayflower’s Van Operator of the Year for the Household Goods East category. Fries was recognized at the Company’s recent award ceremony for his excellent performance in the areas of customer service and safety.
When asked about life on the road, Fries says, “I fell in love with it. It’s a different thing. You meet different people, and it’s different experiences every day.”
“Receiving the 2024 Van Operator of the Year award speaks directly to the commitment of our driving professionals,” President and CEO Jason Mills said. “They deliver exceptional service and invaluable support to our customers. Working long days and nights can sometimes feel like a thankless job; however, our winners actively demonstrate the values and commitment our Company’s mission.”
There are more than 1,300 driving professionals in the Mayflower network, and Fries was one of the three winners this year. The Van Operator of the Year began in the late 1970s to recognize the men and women who sacrifice so much for a life on the road and who help other families through one of the most stressful times in their lives.
