Stafford, VA – (March 14, 2023) – Eric Galioto of Hilldrup out of Stafford, Virginia, was awarded Mayflower’s Van Operator of the Year for the Household Goods East region. The award recognizes Galioto’s excellent performance in the areas of customer service and safety. Mayflower’s President and CEO Jason Mills alongside Chairman of the Board of Directors Charles W. McDaniel presented the award at the Company’s recent Learning Conference held in St. Louis.
For the last 30 years, Galioto has dedicated his life to the trucking industry. With his keen eye for detail and mind for innovative ideas, Galioto finds success in creating a smooth experience for all customers. He mentions his favorite part of the job is being able to see the most beautiful parts of the country and the chance to meet nice people.
“I feel every customer deserves the best and to be treated like VIP,” Galioto said. He limits his distractions while on the roads by focusing on his GPS for directions and silences the radio to better hear his truck.

Galioto resides in Georgia where he is loyal to fan to the Atlanta Falcons.
