CHICAGO – March 12, 2021 – Glen Ellyn Storage Corporation of Chicago received Mayflower Transit’s 2021 President’s Quality Award at the company’s recent virtual conference held in March. The award was presented by Mayflower Transit’s President and CEO Marc Rogers and truly distinguishes Glen Ellyn Storage Corporation as 2020s best of the best.

The President’s Quality recipient is selected from an elite group of Mayflower Transit’s top service providers. It is also based on quality service performance measured through the eyes of customers via post-move surveys.

They (Glen Ellyn) performed with professional efficiency and trusted care. At a very anxious time for us moving out of state, they were a solid TEAM who performed above and beyond performance expected, one customer mentioned.

The award was accepted by Glen Ellyn’s President Larry Smith. Glen Ellyn has been a Mayflower agent and moving families, offices, and products since 1933 and couldn’t be happier to receive this award.

What an unexpected pleasure. Smith remarked. This is a total company award and includes our salespeople, our customer service teams, as well as our operations staff. However, I would like to make a special mention to our in home service providers. Our packers, helpers and van operators have done a tremendous job this year. Especially during this pandemic. Their jobs are very difficult in the best of times, but wearing a mask, social distancing, protecting our customers and themselves has been a tremendous accomplishment. I’m not only proud of the Glen Ellyn men and women that do this work in people’s homes, but for every mover, packer and driver in the entire system. Every agent in our system should take a deep breath of appreciation and make sure we compliment and thank this courageous group.
