DALLAS – (March 14, 2023) – Kevin “Troy” Box, of Daryl Flood Relocation out of Dallas, Texas, was awarded Mayflower’s Household Goods Van Operator of the Year for the west region. The award recognizes Box’s outstanding performance in the areas of customer service and safety. Mayflower’s President and CEO Jason Mills alongside Chairman of the Board Charles W. McDaniel presented the award at the Company’s recent Learning Conference held in St. Louis.

Troy is known to be a veteran in the trucking industry as he began his career more than 30 years ago. He believes customer satisfaction is the top priority in order to achieve a successful move. Throughout the years he’s been requested several times from repeat customers who adore his favorable attitude and hard work.

“My favorite part of the job is seeing a family through the moving process from the beginning to the end and experiencing the enjoyment of their new home with them,” Box said.

“The secret to our exceptional service is the van operators in our network,” Jason Mills said. “Here at Mayflower, we don’t underestimate the effort, professionalism and dedication of drivers. We are privileged to honor Kevin “Troy” Box for their unwavering commitment and customer service with the 2022 Van Operator of the Year award.”

There are more than 1,300 driving professionals in the Mayflower network, and Box was one of the three winners this year. The Van Operator of the Year began in the late 1970s to recognize the men and women who sacrifice so much for a life on the road and who help other families through one of the most stressful times in their lives.
