Mark Henson and Kristina Moore, Dodge Moving and Storage, St. Louis recently received the Mayflower Van Operator of the Year Award at Mayflower’s national sales and operations conference, held virtually in early March.
ST. LOUIS. (March 4, 2021) – Mark Henson and Kristiina Moore, Dodge Moving and Storage Co., Inc. of St. Louis were awarded Mayflower Transit’s Household Goods Van Operators of the Year for the west region. The award recognizes their outstanding performance in the areas of customer service and safety. Mayflower President and CEO Marc Rogers presented the award to Mark and Kristina at the Company’s recent Learning Conference held virtually.
Mark has more than 30 years in the industry and Kristina joined him on the road about nine years ago. She began driving about two years ago. Mark estimates he has driven two million miles since he started with Mayflower. “My favorite part of the job is getting to travel with Kristiina,” Henson said. “We have a lot of fun together traveling and getting to see different areas of the country we never would have seen otherwise,” Moore added. “I have been with Dodge my entire career and I couldn’t imagine working anywhere else,” Henson said. “Dodge does everything you can think of to support van operators and make it possible for us to be successful.”
Henson and Moore stated they service a lot of military shipments as a small token of appreciation for the sheer sacrifice our military members have made to serve our country.

There are more than 1,600 drivers in the Mayflower system, and Mark and Kristiina were one of three winners this year. The van operator of the year began in the 1990s to recognize the men and women who sacrifice so much for a life on the road and who help other families through one of the most stressful times in their lives.
