Michael McLaughlin Receives Mayflower Operations Achievement Award

Mar 19, 2013 – ST. LOUIS, MO – Michael McLaughlin, McLaughlin Transportation Systems, Nashua, N.H., was honored with the Mayflower 2013 Operations Achievement Award. The award was presented by Steve Dawkins, senior executive vice president of integrated operations services, at Mayflower’s national sales and operations conference, held recently in St. Louis. McLaughlin Transportation Systems is an agent for Mayflower.

The recognition acknowledges excellent individual performance and leadership in the field of operations. Only one individual is chosen for the annual award from the employees at the more than 300 domestic Mayflower agencies.

McLaughlin joined the moving industry after college, has served in every operations position and now leads his agency’s operations staff. “Each and every request he receives is routinely handled,” said Marty McLaughlin, President of McLaughlin Transportation Systems and Michael’s brother. “He is the go-to person and never lets a customer down.”

McLaughlin is also responsible for training the staff and strives to help his crews to be more successful. He also works to help the community, most recently helping take supplies to Hurricane Sandy victims and serving as project manager on various events such as the rotary rib fest.
