Ray Conlin and Tom Linhares Elected to UniGroup Board of Directors

    ST. LOUIS (Nov. 17, 2018) – Ray Conlin and Tom Linhares were each elected to a two-year term on the UniGroup board of directors. UniGroup is the parent company of United Van Lines, Mayflower Transit and other transportation solutions companies. The election took place during the company’s recent convention in Marco Island, Florida. Conlin is the chief operations officer at McCollister’s Transportation Group, Inc. in Burlington, New Jersey; and Linhares is the executive vice president and chief operating officer at Dodge Moving & Storage Co, Inc. in St. Louis.

    Conlin has more than 30 years’ experience in the transportation industry. Prior to joining McCollister’s, Conlin was senior vice president at Jevic Transportation in Delanco, New Jersey. During his 10 years with Jevic he worked on projects such as taking the company public in August 1997 and its sale for $200 million in 1999. Conlin has served as an advisor on the UniGroup board since 2014. In addition, he is a past chairman of the Partners Program for the American Chemical Council as well as a member of Rowan’s MBA Advisory Committee and is currently a member of the Supply Chain Management and Logistics Advisory Council.

    Linhares has served as executive vice president and chief operating officer of Dodge Moving & Storage since 2001. Additionally, he has been in a company leadership position for his entire 33 years in the moving and storage industry. Linhares has proudly served as an advisor on the UniGroup board since 2012. He was recognized for his professionalism, passion and dedication when he received the Mayflower Operations Achievement Award in 2008 and the Mayflower Joyce Derrick Award in 2012. Linhares is also the past chairman of the Vanliner Captive Insurance Program and past president of the Missouri Movers Association.
