Hilldrup CEO Charles McDaniel Named Vice Chairman of UniGroup’s Board

ST. LOUIS (Nov. 2, 2018) – UniGroup has announced that Charles W. McDaniel, president and chief executive officer of Hilldrup, was elected vice chairman of its board of directors. A third-generation leader of Hilldrup, McDaniel has been a part of UniGroup’s board of directors since 2015.

“I am honored to have been chosen as vice chairman of the UniGroup board of directors, and I am grateful for the support of my fellow board members, shareholders and the UniGroup headquarters team,” said McDaniel. “As vice chairman, I will work hard to serve and support chairman Barry Vaughn. McDaniel has been on the board of directors’ Executive Committee for the past two years as well as a part of the Strategic Council of the board and a member of the Executive Search Committee for UniGroup’s new president, Marc Rogers. Prior to his election to the board, he served on the advisory board, UniGroup’s Business Improvement Group, Relocation Committee, Information Technology Advisory Council and Marketing Committee. He was previously a part of UniGroup’s Futures Group and United Van Lines’ Sales and Marketing Advisory Board.

McDaniel also is a member of United Van Lines’ Masters Club and the Employee Relocation Council.
