The packers could have done a much better job. I had to ask certain items be packed. Nothing I had personally packed in plastic containers were taped shut. One packer did a lot of walking around while others worked, smoking, getting something to drink, wasting time. One packer left because of a sick child, so short one person. Next day movers worked hard, but had to pack items not done by packers, making it a very long day. They forgot to load the table leaves to my dining room table. I asked one of the movers and they assured me they were loaded. After arriving at our new location, I was told they were left behind. Mover assured me they would arrange them to be transported to me, but home office denied that since I signed the paperwork, after 12 hours of loading onto the truck. REALLY, we all just wanted to get moving. I won’t recommend Mayflower to anyone.

The move went smoothly thanks to Nick. He treated us and are belonging with respect. We can’t say enough about Nick and his expertise and personality. Mayflower is extremely lucky to have him as an employee.

The Lexington crew were the most efficient group of guys I have ever experienced. They arrived right on time, never took a lunch break, and had the whole house packed by 2:30. I have moved many times and this group was amazing. Kind and courteous as well. Each introduced themselves as we walked through the house. Now the Tennessee guys were good, but were just a little rough on the placement of the boxes. But again, they were courteous as well. A special shout out to Robert, who was the driver. He NEVER stopped! What a work ethic! He was very through and detailed. Best experience I have ever had with a moving company!

The team used to box and move my products on both ends was extremely helpful and professional. Alex managed his team well. Additionally, they went above and beyond by helping me box additional stuff that wasn't boxed prior their arrival. Thanks team.

Each team was very nice and worked very hard. Tyler was very professional and still very friendly. We liked him a lot. He checked on us and answered all our questions in a timely manner.

Great experience. Would suggest better communication to your drivers on pick up and drop off locations. Both were challenging and not know upon arrival. The drop off was delayed due to not being able to get in my drive way. A shuttle truck had to be arranged. The crew worked amazingly hard on a warm day!

The estimator was terrific. The staff who answer the phones never called me back. The staff who worked at our home to pack up our things could not have worked harder or better - they were polite and took great care with our belongings. Scheduling the delivery of our belongings for drop- off at our new home was nothing short of a bad dream. It was delayed three times. Then, when the truck finally showed up, no laborers showed up. So, the driver proceeded to unload 18,000 pounds of household goods -ALONE. He deserved a medal. He did not complain - he just kept on chugging in the heat, unloading what he could. About 4 hours later, three guys showed up. They worked really hard, and again, they were polite, pleasant and worked really hard. We have two claims in for damage. One claim was a total fluke - human error. The second one is for a damaged piece of very expensive furniture. If this claim is not resolved to our satisfaction, we would never recommend Mayflower.

Most of the employees we encountered at Mayflower were professional and courteous. However, many of our furniture pieces were damaged upon arrival overlooking anything positive.

Lexington movers seemed very professional and efficient. However, there were several expensive items that were damaged during transport.

The movers were great. Very organized and professional. I don't think the estimate process went as well as expected. We sold lots of furniture and the truck they sent was not big enough. They had to get a second truck for overflow and waited an additional week for our golf cart. I was not pleased with this but everything else was great.

Better care with packing computers, had movers pack printer and computers and there was no cushioning at all, just wrapped in paper. Should be using peanuts or something better than that. Also on unload, told them in advance I lived on narrow downtown street and they brought a 25-foot truck, of course had problems finding place to park! Only moving a 2-bed apt that fits in a 10-ft truck. They had to go switch out trucks to unload at destination.

The leaving vs arriving experiences were like night and day. The driver was the same in both cases but his assistant was different. Leaving was a bit sloppy and slow. Arriving was stellar.

Move out took much longer because insufficient packers brought to house. took an entire extra day and at end 4 packers just putting HHG in any open box. Resulted in great difficulty getting unpacked and moved in efficiently. Had requested unpacking of wardrobe and dishpack - at 5pm driver said they had to leave. Spoke to GM who said it would have to wait till Monday. One good note was that quality of packing was excellent and the 4 men unloading did super job not damaging anything in new home. Also, this was a United crew and sometimes I was not sure if I was dealing with United or Mayflower. If I wanted United, I could have used their quote which was $2k less. Also, Mayflower charged me almost $300 extra for the little bit of unpacking the driver did (he unpacked a couple of boxes and sent pics to GM to show level of effort; made his effort look more than what was really done)
