From start to finish the process was very easy and straight forward. Our move from MA to CO was a great success and we cannot say anything bad about the experience.

Even though it was a very stressful time for us, scheduling movers from MA to receipt of furniture in FL was quite stressless. Everyone we had contact with was very helpful and understanding. Overall positive experience.

We contacted Mayflower after having a terrible experience with Purple Heart Movers. We called office for an estimate and they had George contact us immediately. George and Sarah were amazing. We were leaving in a few days to move to Vegas. Previous mover ran out of space and left some of our things.

I have moved cross country multiple times with different carriers. This was the most positive experience in all the 5 moves I've had. From Ken in sales doing all he could to help me secure dates to move during the busiest weeks of the year, to the packers, driver and delivery/unpacking crew, and thorough customer service coordinator, Sara Centofanti, I have to say this was the most professional and smooth experience. Thank You!

The Mayflower driver was great. Loading was easy and good. 1 of the subcontractors unloading was difficult because he was not listening to where I wanted items placed.

From the start, with the representative meeting with us to estimate the move parameters and cost, to the final box being stored once our move to California was completed, everyone was totally dedicated to insuring our belongings were shipped in the most professional manner I can imagine. The driver and his crew, on both ends of the journey, worked very hard to both load and unload in under eight hours. The storage sheds in CA were packed so well there could not have been room for more; lighter boxes were put at the top so as not to be crushed; furniture was placed so as not to cause damage or scratching. All in all, I could not have done a better job of it!

Alan & Sara that provided the quote in Massachusetts (MA) were great. The moving team in MA was fantastic. They were professional & very nice. They took pride in what they were doing and packed everything very well. I can't say enough about them and based on that team, my scores would have been higher. The team in Phoenix were the exact opposite. They were not very friendly and stunk the place up with body odor. The team in MA took apart the tower of our desk to prevent damage and said the team in Phoenix would reassemble. They refused, said it would take too long & was not part of their job. They dented a wall bringing furniture in and the response was "oops". They did not unpack the cord for the TV so we needed to purchase another. We think it got thrown away in the TV box. Instead of going through all of the inventory on their own like the did in MA, they made my mom check in all the stuff & when pieces were missing they said stickers fell off. Not a professional crew at all.

I spent $3,000. for a crate that was too small for me to take ANY of my furniture. I moved from MA to FL and didn't have one piece of furniture. We could only fit our personal belongings, our bikes and a tv. No room for anything else but as a single parent of two kids, I couldn't afford more than 3k!! I should have rented a UHaul as that would have cost 1500. and I would have furniture. Way too expensive for what I received. The movers were nice and helpful. They were the only part of he experience that was positive. Frustrating.

I was unaware that the movers would pack up the house to then move our belongings to a warehouse, unload & then have different movers pick up & reload to a new truck.

Our move was scheduled for May 15, much to our surprise a small truck came to transport our belongings to a warehouse. Then it was loaded on to a large truck two days later. This is not what I signed up for. They said if we wanted the large moving truck it would be available to come on May 17th, which was not possible as our house was sold and closing on May 16. We had booked this months in advance, and this is not how it was sold to us. I am disappointed with the process. I did not want my belongings sitting a warehouse. A box was lost in the process, a shelving unit was taken apart, which we could not get back together, the wheel on a power washer was broken. There were also a couple of dished broken and glasses. I am sure this would not have happened if it was packed and processed as promised, on May 15th.

Initial customer service - contact to estimate - was satisfactory. The movers both on the pick up and delivery side were professional and friendly but multiple items were damaged in transit including a table (which cannot be repaired), a torn dining room chair, and a $3000 bed marked with grease and finger prints that cannot be removed. I am not in the process of trying to settle this issue through a claims process but Mayflower refuses to take responsibility for the damage done to the table, claiming it predates the move. Overall, I would rate this experience as terrible.

Sara was great personable and professional. The movers Myles and Lee were exceptional. The weather was lousy, raining and cold, they worked their butts off and did not complain once. The driver Huggy was the best, on time, friendly and over the top helpful. After hearing so many bad stories about moving, this was a piece of cake, in large part to the above mentioned people,

Our move coordinator provided clear, frequent communication about our move. Additionally, the movers and driver (Mike) took great care with our possessions. Not a single item was harmed in transit. They arrive on time and were extremely professional.

The Mayflower team was extraordinary. From the initial estimate throughout the whole move and post delivery Mayflower was responsive, flexible, reliable and professional. My only criticism is with the United portion of the move. Everything Mayflower was responsible for was tracked and logged on an iPad. The United team that drove our household items to Phoenix didn't have a good system for tracking the unloading of the goods at destination. A large, expensive mirror never got off the truck. I was also frustrated that items were transported below the truck and resulted in unnecessary damage. If everything had been scanned as it was loaded in Sherborn and then scanned as it was unloaded in Phoenix we would have had a better delivery. There was obviously a space issue on the truck which is why the driver moved certain items from the main area to below. I wish this had not happened.

From the outset EVERYONE involved in the process was personable and professional. Despite the fact the quote came in higher than the competition, Patty felt more comfortable with and trusted the salesman more. The fact that he delivered on his promise bore out that decision. Sarah's communications were frequent and helpful. The driver, Huggie, was over the top with his attention to detail, knowledge and helpfulness on both ends of the delivery. After all of the horror stories I heard previous to the move, the fact we experience zero problems made this the easiest part of our move. I want to thank everyone behind the scenes involved with this move as they really helped this to be our Christmas Miracle!

There was a few mix up in the items that were suppose to be shipped and the ones I did not want to be shipped.. Several boxes were damaged by water eak in the trucks roof, but the company paid for cleaning which find with me. I would of liked the truck to filled in a curtain order that I had in mind and that didn't happen. Overall the pick up date a delivery went as planned.
