My wife and I were satisfied with the move. Unfortunately our belongings are still in storage. I did refer Mayflower to my brother who was moving to another state and did not get the service that I did.

We were sorely disappointed that the truck did not weigh after picking up our household goods. Therefore, we have no idea what the actual weight of our shipment was. I was told that, if we went over the allocated weight designated by the intake person we would have to pay extra. I was also led to believe that, if we were underweight we could expect a monetary refund on our shipment. When I called to find out the exact weight after loading I was told there was no weight taken because the packers did not refute the weight that had been quoted. Therefore, I guess I can assume that there is no refund. We were so concerned about going over weight that we sold our snow blower, several toolboxes, a lawnmower, deck chairs and outdoor furniture, plus other items that we would have shipped. Now, I wonder what our weight was and why no weight was taken.

Everything from the quote to the delivery of our items to our new home went well. It was very stress free because everyone did their job and was sure to let us know what we needed to do on our end/followed up with us when they said they would.

The only thing that really upsets me is we were set up to have off loading on Dec 13. NOBODY from the office EVER contacted us and said that this wasn’t going to happen. I informed your people that we could get in around 11 AM. After all the settlement process my son calls after 1PM and asked what’s going on. When we left the attorney I called the office and no one answered so I left a message. After a couple of hours Someone returning my call informed me that they would be there tomorrow. I now had to find a hotel to stay at. I spent $100 on a room after just purchasing a half a million dollars in a new home. Why was it that no one at the office had the courtesy to call. I had to initiate contact. POOR SERVICE. I have no complaints about the movers they were great and hard working. I believe that I should be reimbursed for my hotel stay

Pretty bad scheduling system. Missed the delivery date. Bad customer service. Seems like people within company don’t talk to each other and you get different answer from different t people. Pretty horrible experience.

The first driver Alex was aweful but was fired the day after he loaded the truck. Found out he is a drug user. You need to keep tabs on employees. Refused to take one thing. Gave me a hard time about the TV. Broke 4 items thru pure carelessness. He had a bad attitude from the start. Reported him to the company. Rick the driver who brought our things down and did the unload and his crew were fabulous. Very appologetic for the broken items even though not their fault at all. Angel was very helpful and felt bad we had damaged items. She said that NOTHING should ever be damaged.She emailed form for me to fill out for a claim.She was a big help in a bad situation

Extremely frustrating. Employees packing and moving are extremely hard working but severely understaffed for requirements so much so that the driver walked off the job after walk through on move day delaying our move. Many of the precious furniture items on our high value list were damaged most likely due to tired and overworked staff. Our load day was delayed 6 hours for new crew and our shipment arrived 5 days late due to the need to split the load. Either the estimator did a poor job estimating or the company severely over works team and under staffs job. Communication is also extremely poor between estimator, coordinator, team and customer.

On the day that my items were delivered I was told by the driver a) that my shipment was a "last minute" thing for him (I contacted Mayflower over 2 months before my move so this was not a "last minute" thing) b) that not all of my items were on the truck. Apparently since my shipment was "last minute" he couldn't get everything on the truck. This was a surprise to me and when I talked to my moving coordinator it was a surprise to her as well. Was told by the driver that the "overflow" would probably be delivered the next Monday. It's now the Thursday after and I'm being told that it should be delivered Friday or Saturday, over a week after my original shipment. I'm very disappointed in the lack of communication within the company.

Great team at both ends. Chris, our driver, was very conscientious and professional. The packing team was superb, with no breakage or damage. But Dusty let us down on her packing - she left sugar in two sugar bowls, and unpacking those two dish packs was a mess. Delivery was 24 hours after the latest promised delivery date. This is NOT a driver issue, but a DISPATCH issue. Trying to squeeze more dollars out of slipping in another customer and then paying me a paltry $100 day late fee.

Out of 10 moves, this was the worse one we have ever had based on the packers. Unfortunately, the packers are your first exposure to the move. Poorly orchestrated, poorly packed and poorly labeled.

Poor customer service, which completely surprised me as I had a great experience with Mayflower in the past. Sales representative lied to me and never returned a call after the contract was signed. The packers were great but the loading team and unloading team was awful! Very little care with our belongings. Many knicks and dings on our furniture and they ruined the leather on our expensive platform bed. I expected to deal with moving professionals as I have with Mayflower in the past but that was not the case this time. I am very disappointed. We decided to pay more and choose Mayflower and that was a big mistake. Again, the packers were great! Sales rep was nice up front but lied to me and never returned any calls once the contract was signed. Loading team and unloading team were awful, lazy and careless!

Professional, easy to work with. The only issue was packing seemed a little random & incomplete. The staff was great to deal with & very quick response from move coordinator. Minimal damage on household goods.

MY FATHER MOVED FROM PHILADELPHIA TO LAS VEGAS. THE MAYFLOWER DID A GREAT JOB AT PACKING HIS ITEMS AND SHIPPING IT WITHIN THE 14 DAYS THEY PROMISED. ONLY TWO MARTINI GLASSES BROKE ON THE MOVE- THE PIANO WAS MOVED WITH NO ISSUES. EVERYTHING MADE IT SAFELY AND WE WERE VERY HAPPY. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.

While all of the people were professional and courteous, several of our belongings were broken and not handled with care, which was very disappointing coming from a national moving company.

First all the employees I had contact with were very helpful. Carol Johnson was helpful in doing and explaining the estimate to me. Lynda Lunz was most helpful in keeping me informed about the schedule and in responding to questions I sent her by email. The movers for the pickup and delivery were professional and productive in handling the furniture and boxed items. There was no damage to any of my belongings.

The move was managed professionally. I thought I couldn't fit in my items into the container, the moving helpers did a great job accommodating all my items. All the items were safely delivered without any damage. I really appreciated on how each item was tagged and tracked on delivery. The moving coordinator was proactive and friendly. Overall, a good moving experience.

This was a cross country move and the aspect of Mayflower that was most important to me was the consistency of service. From the initial contact with Mayflower in PA to the movers who delivered my goods in NM, everyone I dealt with was professional, positive, and competent.

initial interview and follow ups prior to packing day--excellent. Packing day, 3 packers--1 excellent, 1 good, 1 not so good. Some items in cabinets in bathrooms not packed. Moving day so/so. Flooring damaged either with movers or packers. Driver handled $6000 computer sewing machine roughly, especially after being asked to handle gently and store upright, not on side or upside down. Notified Mayflower immediately after seeing floor damage, told inspector would contact me the next day. Did not contact that day or ever. We needed to make accomodations on settlement 2 days later and still waiting for check promised to us by Rose Huhn on 04/11/17 Today is 05/01/17 Move in day went very well. 2 things found damaged as a result of poor packing by packers. Will not be filing damage report due to poor response from flooring

Somehow my products went from being worth $14,000 in Atlanta to being worth $20,000 in PA. I think Paul Trier in PA price gouges. The rest of the experience was fine. But the price was higher than it should've been than it had been due to Paul's price gouging.
